How To Get Started
  1. Read the DSW Distance Student Handbook
  2. Contact the Bookstore to order/purchase your text books: All courses are delivered through Canvas. Registered students will be able to log into Canvas after the course start date.

    *** HOW TO LOG IN TO CANVAS, BANNER and EMAIL ***
    1. Go to myLoyalist
    2. Your username is your: firstnamelastname
    3. Your password is your birth date (YYMMDD)
    4. Click on the appropriate icon.
    5. Once in Canvas, remember to enroll in your Distance Community Hub.

    If you are DSW Distance student and taking GenEd courses towards your DSW Diploma through OntarioLearn, please click here and follow the login instructions.

    BANNER: Banner is the College’s Student Information System that provides you with a snapshot view of grades and accounts. Students are asked to check and ensure their contact and registration information in Banner is up-to-date. This is especially important for off campus students so that your instructors can reach you
