Leadership Fundamentals: The Science of Leading Yourself and Others
You’ve been looking for ways to move forward in your career, to stand out to your manager, your boss and even your peers as someone with leadership potential. You have good instincts when it comes to working with others, but you’re sure there’s more to learn about leading in a way that brings the best out in yourself and others. This course helps new and aspiring managers stand out as an absolute asset to their team, increase their leadership potential and gain traction and trust with the people they work with. This interactive virtual course uses neuroscience, storytelling and practice to uncover the tools you need to be calm, cool and collected while navigating the complexities of being a leader. The program takes a journey from inner self-management to outer interactions with team members and leadership to help you adopt the mindset, communication and orientation toward trust and collaboration of an exceptional leader.
● This is a blended program that includes online independent work as well as two live virtual
sessions.
● Approximately 6 hours total; 3 hours of online independent work and 3 hours of live virtual
sessions.
● The live sessions are meant to bring the learning to life – understanding how the content relates
to your specific workplace. The focus will be on discussion, practice and habit building so that
you feel more prepared to apply your new knowledge in the real world.
Live sessions will be on Thursdays with a live kick off on the first day of class. Participants will require a computer or laptop (with camera) that can run Zoom and reliable internet.
