This course has been designed for beginners in the animal health care field. Upon completion of the course, the student will have basic knowledge of the anatomy, nutrition, and behaviour of the horse, pig, cow, sheep and goat. Students will develop a basic understanding of veterinary diseases, especially zoonotic diseases, and will learn the importance of proper restraint and safety around large animals.
