This course will cover the basic procedures involved in preparing for veterinary surgeries, record-keeping, pre- and post-op duties, the handling and cleaning of surgical instruments, most common elective surgeries, sterile and non-sterile procedures, asepsis, and appropriate behaviour in the surgery room.
