Learn standards of style and format of medical reports, medical documentation grammar rules. Apply industry standards, as set by the American Association for Medical Transcription. The course introduces information not encountered outside of healthcare. Includes dictation clips to introduce you to dictation and allow for practice in applying the standards. Students should anticipate a minimum requirement of 10 hrs/week in this course.
