CPR & First Aid Re-Certification course is a comprehensive, 1-day, in-class course, offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to review your skills. This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
You must have a valid CPR & First Aid Certificate to take this recertification course.
Your certificate is valid if the expiry date is still in the future.
The card must be valid the day your course begins, and it needs to have been issued by a training partner that is WSIB recognized.
If you already have a valid Recertification Certificate, you will have to take the full CPR and First Aid training course. In Ontario you can only recertify once before you are required to take the full course again.
